Her breathing is labored.. and yes that is scarey.. but she isn′t scared.. she doesn′t seem to mind.. she isn′t in pain (other than a sore throat).. I have been around asthma attacks.. I suppose asthma can have many faces.. in my heart her symptoms are serious.. but not yet life threatening.. no.. I do not want them to become life threatening.. but I can′t go there before it′s time.. To me asthma is much scarier.. and I think they are passing out inhalers like they do antibiotics these days..and I too think these sorts of preventative measures will backfire..I don′t know how else to express this sense I feel.

Erins diet, Autumn, completely dairy and wheat free, if not, very worthwhile considering.

Have to find resources later, but a local parent here with autistic child has published an article about the
dramatic improvement in her autistic child with the
idea that dairy and wheat can produce morphine like symptoms, which would play havoc with bodies. This was followed up by a Dr. who worked locally in the emergency rooms and very much supported the problem of dairy and wheat - he now has a website but I will have to scrummage through the garbage to find it as I forgot to save it.

I′m off dairy and I can tell you the severe withdrawals more than tell me how much this body shouldn′t be eating it. The body is waking up and I
feel like I am coming off a lifelong morphine habit!!!

Feeling for you, Autumn, look after yourself.

I know there are all sorts of Asperger′s diets.. sometimes I think eveyrthing we eat fucks with us! Ok.. Erin MAY have mild asthma.. but all this medication it′s that divide and conquer attitude.. I have been looking into growing my own heirloom grains.. I guess back in the egyptian days the grains had much less gluten.. of course.. we′ll just find something else in it! I have long felt that wheat is making us feel sick.. and have long thot human′s really weren′t meant to drink animal milk.. but I love cheese damnit!

Ian′s food jags include corn, wheat and milk fruit and veggies. Milk is a staple food for him.... I confess I fear he′d lose much of his daily caloric intake.. which is next to nothing! I′m sort of stuck between a rock and a hard place.. He′s 12 now.. he completely feeds himself. I do buy the items for him.. He eats more now than ever...since I stopped trying to be too involved.

everyone! Indcluding the docs.. I realize.. I′m just not about not having faith in my own ′suspicions′. the healthcare issue fits right in imo.. One side thinks we′ll lose our high standards of healthcare.. The other side thinks this will give everyone the ability to have higher standards of healthcare.. I find much of the medical community is off the charts way too health conscious.. it′s getting pushed on us.. and of course I suspect it′s partly the propaganda from the pharmeceutical industry that has helped us get here.. but the general population has no faith in their own ability to follow their own intuition.. doctors and drugs are given way too much power.. they are gods!

I understand that very well Autumn .When all sections of the health industry can charge heavily , then the whole cost to both individuals and the state gets too big.
In the UK we have the NHS and it is a colossal bureacracy which takes a bigger and bigger slice cake without any very obvious benefit.
no one knows how to slow it down.
Yep ! one can be too health conscious in the same way that one can be too safety conscious.
You go too far along that road and you end up wrapping yourself up in cotton wool and doing zilch

We had a curious list in the papers yesterday.
It was of local authority inspectors who had the right of entry to one′s home.
One searchable offence that was given was
"Illegal or inappropriate hypnotism "
The mind boggles .
Where would such inspectors receive their info ?
What would be legal as opposed to illegal hypnotism.
How do you define hypnotism ?
Many people think it is not much more than influencing the mind.
If that is so all politicans should be locked up forthwith

So Ian was curious about showing a chicken in the county 4H fair here. Dunno if you all are familar with 4H.. It′s really like a local farm ′club′ for kids who want to show their skills, hobbies and talents.. I love the fair.. and would love if my kids were participating.. So we went to the first meeting today. First thing the poultry people say is, "You will care for the chicken then show it. Like you present your show chicken you will also have to present yourself. Nice attire and hygeine.. Here we go.. Ian starts arguing that he isn′t interested in showing ′himself′.. *lol* back and forth back and forth.. finally the woman said, " Well you will be judged just like your chicken.". So Ian replies, " I don′t think I′m interested.".. Waaaaaaaaa.. guess it′ll be another 4H fair we′ll participate in on the outside.. I do plan to attend a meeting or two.. and hoping he′ll come along and forget about today′s introduction!

Autumn, would acting classes and the world of make believe help Ian? Perhaps if the poultry people had worded their instructions a littl;e better Ian would have been more responsive.

maybe, marger.. I find it all somewhat humorous.. I mean I don′t take it all too seriously.. He isn′t missing out.. I know this.. I think more I am! He is the most AWESOME kid I have ever known.. he′s not rude at all.. he′s respectful.. he just tells it like it is for him. The adults are funny to watch.. thinking they are authority.. He cracks that foundation.

I have a house full of ill people again.. *sigh*
